Upcoming Course: ENOVIA SmarTeam Environment Duplication and Recovery

 This 36-hour course teaches the concepts needed to help administrators deploy a test or training environment, as well as the skills needed to implement a rock-solid disaster recovery plan. The course, in cooperation with our services partner Razorleaf Corporation, touches on a combination of Disaster Recovery and Test Environment Concepts courseware, and is targeted at IT staff and ENOVIA SmarTeam Administrators with backgrounds in systems management tasks, regardless of their experience working with ENOVIA SmarTeam (although ENOVIA SmarTeam experience is preferred).

• Using virtualization as a tool for cost-effective test/training environment setup
• Understanding which system aspects need to be reproduced exactly and where approximations are okay
• Utilizing built-in database backup and restore tools for Oracle and SQL Server
• Learning what needs to be backed up other than the database and vaults
• Determining how to change hostnames and IP addresses of key system components
• Developing an end-to-end backup and restore strategy for ENOVIA SmarTeam
• Practicing real-world disaster recovery scenarios
