Eric Doubell is CEO of Adaptive Corporation. His duties include managing client and vendor relationships, strategic planning, contracts and negotiation, and administration and management. With more than 25 years of experience, Eric has worked as a software developer and engineer, an independent consultant, DBA, MIS manager, business systems manager and as a consulting manager in the medical, security, manufacturing, financial, legal, and consulting industries.
Eric holds degrees in Economics and Computer Science from Denison University and Finance and Computer Management Masters in Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Business.
Margie Ator is CFO/ VP Operations of Adaptive Corporation. She is responsible for all aspects of Finance, Operations and Administration. Margie has over 37 yrs experience, and has worked as a Financial Analyst, Controller, Customer Account Manager and Pricing Director in various size companies from Fortune 500 to start ups.
Margie holds a BS Finance degree from the Ohio State University.
Chief Operating Officer
Wayne is the Chief Operating Officer at Adaptive Corporation and is responsible for growing sales and services for the PLM, Additive Manufacturing, Simulation and Metrology lines of business. Prior to Adaptive, Wayne led Leading Edge Engineering, a Simulation Services consultancy before Adaptive acquired the company in 2015. With more than 20 years of experience in Simulation, Wayne’s expertise spans Load Development, Weld Fatigue, Dynamics and Optimization. He works with Adaptive customers to solve complex product development challenges such as warranty/failure problems, optimized designs for improved performance (cost, weight, life, etc.), and defining accurate simulation processes and techniques to develop confidence in consistent simulation results.
Wayne holds a B.S. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from Illinois State University.
Vice President, Marketing
Juliann Grant is the Vice President of Marketing for Adaptive Corporation. She is responsible for all aspects of marketing including branding, digital and off line marketing, field marketing and more. She has more than 25 years experience developing marketing strategies for high technology and industrial companies that build consumer demand, revenue streams, and customer communities. She has a talent for positively impacting product direction, accurately assessing market challenges, and aligning products and services to meet buyer needs. She is a recognized speaker and author on B2B marketing strategies and tactics including integrated marketing, online marketing and social media.
Juliann holds an BS in Marketing from Merrimack College.
Vice President, Sales
Over a 20-year career in sales management and marketing, Michael has focused on excellence in the PLM industry. He has achieved President’s Club and leadership awards 7 out of 7 years and was requested by Daratech to speak on Building a Winning Culture in a Field Sales force. He was responsible for 8 acquisitions. His intentions are to help grow and build company value.
Michael was “employee number one” for an early entrant in the PC-Based CAD CAM industry that produced revenues that over time accelerated from a million dollars a year to 2 million a week; his team was acquired by Dassault Systems and MSC Software. As EVP of North American sales, he carried a quota of $250 million for the publicly traded NYSE: MSC Software. Michael was a key member of the only executive team that converted private equities to public in the PLM industry. He also served in an organizational role for two years as President for the PTC Channel Leading Tech-30 and earned distinctions such as advisory council selection, PTC #1 Fast Growth VAR recipient, and revenues 315% YOY. He is a two-time All American and holds a dual degree in management and marketing from Cornell University.
PLM Line of Business Leader
Jon Gable, has been working in the PLM industry for over 20 years with companies of all manufacturing types and industries as both an implementation consultant and product strategist. He has spent the majority of his career with MatrixOne and ENOVIA and has been deeply involved in the transformation of PLM to a business platform managing all aspects of a company’s product development processes.
Jon has a B.S. Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University and a M.S. Engineering Management from the University of Michigan.
Metrology Line of Business Leader
Frank Thomas has worked in the Engineering, Metrology and Additive Manufacturing industry for over 20 years with a variety of manufacturing companies and industries as both an implementation consultant and product specialist. Over the past 10 years he has been focused on connecting Engineering and Manufacturing, specifically around Quality and now Additive Manufacturing. His goal is to help companies better connect the “virtual” to the “physical”, thereby improving their time to market and reducing cost.
Frank has a BSEE from Ohio University. Frank serves as a career counselor for his local community to expose young people to Engineering and the opportunities in Additive Manufacturing.
Business Manager for 3D Printing Line
Tim Weatherford is a seasoned executive, having spent more than 20 years in the product-life-cycle management and additive manufacturing industries. Tim has been at the forefront of the shift to additive manufacturing and operated an independent consulting company focused on adopting 3D-printing technologies, providing sales and support for AutoDesk, PTC, Oracle and additive manufacturing systems from HP 3D, Shining 3D and DesktopMetal. He specializes in Lean Product Development, CAD/CAM, PLM and collaboration tools. At Adaptive, Tim’s role will focus on driving the 3D printing line of business, which is centered on the Markforged 3D Industrial carbon fiber and metal printer lines. Tim holds a degree from Indiana University – Purdue.
