Adaptive’s Mike Koepp to Speak at Conference on Tire Science and Technology
September 13-14 at the Akron-Fairlawn Hilton in Akron, Ohio
Adaptive is proud to be sponsoring this year’s meeting and conference of the Tire Society, which is attended by engineers and scientists in the tire and vehicle industries, education, and governments from around the world.
Adaptive’s own Mike Koepp will also be speaking during the conference. According to Mike:

“There are many challenges that arise when assessing tire designs for durability: identifying the most sensitive design parameters, observing effects of material selection, managing large amounts of data, and calculating performance metrics are a few examples. We will present tools and techniques that can be used to address these challenges in tire engineering. In particular we will focus on simulation-based methods, including: non-linear finite-element modeling with hyperelastic materials; FEA-based rubber fatigue life calculation; and computational process integration and automation. These tools can enable data-driven decision making about tire design and optimization; furthermore, they can be adapted to many aspects of automotive design and analysis.”
Be sure to put this presentation on your agenda during the conference.
